District heating, Almetyevsk Heat Networks, Russia

A large IPP municipal district heating project is realized in Almetyevsk, Tatarstan in Russia with 12 MWM TCG 2020 V20 gas engines.

District heating, Bogdanovich Generation Company (BGK), Russia

District heating project realized as IPP with two MWM TCG 2032 V16 gas engines in Bogdanovich, Sverdlovsk region in Russia.


Looije Tomaten B. V., Netherlands

The CHP plant supplies the greenhouse, not only with power and heat, but also with exhaust gas to promote tomato growth. Moreover, MWM manufactured a special noise insulation hood in order to comply with the strict noise protection standards.

Delta Energy B.V., Netherlands

By order of DELTA Energy B.V., the Dutch location of MWM set up one of Europe's largest gas engine plants, which supplies a 126-acre greenhouse array in Zeeland, Netherlands, with heat and electricity.

Delhi Land Finance (DLF), India

DLF had been looking for custom-tailored energy solutions for five different buildings. The answer was the use of coolant heat for the generation of heating water and the use of the exhaust gas heat in absorption refrigerators for cooling.

Munich Airport, Germany

Two TCG 2032 V16 units were added to the existing MWM engines. Using trigeneration, 7.44 MW of electricity, 8.7 MW of heat, and 5.3 MW of cold are produced and used to supply buildings and hangars.

Industrial Companies

Rahim Steel, Bangladesh

Eight gensets supply a steel factory with power. Due to the plant's special load response requirements, the plant was equipped with an exhaust gas waste gate and a by-pass in order to enable customer-specific load response.


The energy supply center of the GLOBALFOUNDRIES chip factory in Dresden, Germany, opted for the MWM engines because of the high quality of the electricity produced by this system.

Coal Mines and Other Mines

Coal Mine Xishan, Shanxi, China

n 2008, MWM equipped the state coal mine in Taiyuan with a total of three TCG 2020 V20 gensets. The plant uses the coal mine gas for the generation of power.

Pniówek, Poland

Jastrzębie S.A. has been operating a trigeneration plant with three mine gas-fueled engines since 1999. This reference project of SFW Energia, Gliwice, is unique in that the mine gas is used to cover the own power needs and for the underground air-conditi

Power Producers, IPP

Sredneuralsky Copper Smelter, Russia

The CHP plant in one of the largest copper smelters in Russia's Ural Mountains is being run with five high-performance MWM TCG 2032 V16 gas engines and is considered an innovative pilot project.

Precision Energy, Bangladesh

In 2010, MWM shipped 15 TCG 2032 V16 gensets to Precision Energy in Bangladesh within three months. The plant generates a constant total output of 60 MWel. All of the generated electricity is fed into the public grid.

Münster Public Utilities, Germany

The Münster Public Utilities had to renew their old emergency power generator. The CHP plant with a TCG 2032 V16 ensures the power and heat supply in the event of an outage.

Oil and Gas Industry, Drilling Rigs, Flare Gas

Power Plant Chevron – Helder, North Sea

The Helder oil drilling rig gets its power from two TBG 620 V16 units plus a new TCG 2020 V20. Together, the gensets generate an output of 4.65 MWel. The generated heat is used for heating and providing hot water on the rig.

FG Wilson Bechtel, Miskar, Tunisia

The FG Wilson rig hosts two TBG 620 V20 units and a later installed TCG 2020 V20 unit (isolated operation) that cover the rig's energy needs. The three gensets have a combined electrical output of 3.5 MWel.

Steel and Chemical Industry, Syngas, Coking Gas

Italiana Coke, Italia

Every year, the leading Italian coking plant Italiana Coke SPA produces about 500,000 tons of coke. Due to the fine experience made with MWM gensets, four old engines were replaced with four new TCG 2032 V16 units.


Ämmässuo Landfill, Finland

The 50-acre landfill in Ämmässuo, Finland, uses the landfill gas resulting from the fermentation of waste in four TCG 2032 V16 units. This is the first landfill gas plant with engines of the TCG 2032 series.

GaoAnTun Landfill, Beijing, China

The project at the GaoAnTun landfill started in 2007 with the installation of one TCG 2016 V12B unit with an output of 537 kWel.

Municipalities, Sewage Plants

Mannheim Sewage Plant, Germany

The Mannheim Sewage Plant has added a container with a TCG 2020 V12 to its system portfolio. This new plant runs both on natural gas and on sewage gas.

Melbourne Water, Australia

The Melbourne Water Corporation is responsible for the wastewater handling and treatment for the city of 3.7 million inhabitants. Seven gas gensets convert natural gas and sewage gas to energy, each generating 1.4 MW at a temperature of 35°C.

Biogas from Renewable Raw Materials

Anderlingen-Ohrel, Germany

A container-hosted TCG 2016 V08C generates 3,200 MWh of power and 2,552 MWh of heat a year, which are used for the biogas plant.

CHP Plant, Kletkamp Farm, Germany

Nawaro Kletkamp GmbH & Co. KG uses a biogas CHP plant. Every day, about 20 tons of corn silage are used as input substance.

Biogas Plant Géotexia, France

The biogas plant in the Bretagne, France uses pork manure and industrial fats to produce around 700m³ of biogas per hour. The biogas is used in 2 containerized TCG 2016 V16 C.
